Today’s broadcasters, creators and live event teams are combining satellite, IP, cloud, 5G and remote production to deliver faster, more flexible and more cost-effective coverage. This session explores how leading media organisations are building hybrid distribution models that pair the reliability of satellite with the scalability of IP and cloud. Through real-world case studies across live sports, news, IRL streaming and large-scale events, attendees will see how those workflows are reshaping live production across the African media landscape. - Where satellite still delivers the most value, and where IP and cloud workflows are rapidly replacing traditional models. - How hybrid live production is being used across news, sports, live events and creator-driven content. - Real-world case studies of broadcasters and creators cutting costs, gaining flexibility and expanding reach. - The infrastructure realities shaping African media workflows: connectivity, 5G rollout and cloud adoption. - Practical considerations around latency, resilience, scalability and workflow design when moving to hybrid production. ## **Want to attend?
