Capacity that follows
the story.

For three decades, infrastructure decided what could be broadcast. This September at IBC, we're pulling back the curtain on the project that's rewriting that rule, live on the show floor.
The On-booth presentation

From Fixed Feeds to an Elastic Newsroom. How Reuters Rebuilt Live News Distribution
For three decades, fixed satellite and hybrid infrastructure set the ceiling on how much live news could move: capacity that couldn't flex when a story broke bigger than the system was built for. This session goes behind the scenes of how Reuters tore that ceiling down, moving to an elastic, software-defined architecture where capacity follows editorial demand, not the other way around.

Building on the Success of Phase 1
Reuters and TVU are migrating Reuters' live news distribution from satellite to a cloud-managed IP model, built on TVU MediaHub and TVU NOC. The first region is live, and the platform was demonstrated at NAB 2026. At IBC, we're revealing what comes next.
